Tau-II Redirective Attenuator
The Redirective, Non-Gating Tau-II crash cushion family consists of a full line of systems designed to meet the requirements of NCHRP 350 Report, TL-2 and TL-3. The system is available in lengths and capacities for both low- and high-speed applications (50-113 km/h, or 30-70 mph).

The Tau-II system can shield hazards with widths up to 2.6 m (102 inches). The Tau-II System is ideally suited for roadway hazards such as the ends of rigid concrete barriers, steel barrier, bridge piers, signs, etc. Ease of installation, low profile foundation, numerous transition options, and low priced replacement component after an impact make the Tau-II system ideal to shield most roadside hazards.

 

 

Absorb 350
The Absorb 350 attaches to portable, permanent and moveable barriers. It is easy to install, maintain, and relocate while not requiring any foundation or ground anchoring. The Absorb 350 has been tested to NCHRP Report 350 TL-2 and TL-3. 

The easy cleanup of the system after an impact reduces workers exposure. It has a narrow 24-inch profile ideal for permanent and temporary sites with overall superior performance compared to sand barrels. The interchangeable systems components make on site changes easy for high and low applications.

 

 

X-TENuator™ Redirective Attenuator
The redirective, non-gating, NCHRP 350 TL-3 X-TENuator system features excellent impact performance at an affordable price. Utilizing superior engineering design, the X-TENuator System provides the lifesaving performance of a redirective, non-gating crash cushion without the high cost.

The X-TENuator system has been designed to be installed permanently and is also approved to be used on asphalt in work zones where redirective non-gating performance is required. Standard transition options, narrow footprint and easy deployment make the X-TENuator system ideal for shielding narrow roadside hazards at low impact sites.

X-Tension™ Redirective Non-Gating End Terminal
The X-Tension™ Terminal is the world's first fully re-directive, non-gating guardrail end terminal. The unique X-Tension technology is a tension-based solution rather than compression- based. It offers exceptional vehicle control and energy absorbing capabilities in head on impacts. X-Tension consists of an impact head with a cable friction plate inside, a slider assembly and slider bracket, a cable anchor bracket, a foundation anchor assembly, two cable assemblies, a ground strut, standard steel or wood posts and three standard 12 gauge highway W-Beam rails.

The X-tension is tested to NCHRP Report 350, TL-3 (100km/h), fully redirective non-gating specifications.

The X-Tension™ Median Attenuator System (XMAS) is a fully re-directive, non-gating end treatment designed for bidirectional applications
